SADC reports to Copenhagen +10
Six SADC states presented reports to the UN Commission for Social Development on the implementation of the outcome of the World Summit for Social Development. The conference, held in February 2005, is more popularly known as the Copenhagen +10 summit.

In addition, Mauritius presented a statement on behalf of SADC. This statement was an abridged version of a longer draft resolution adopted by SADC Ministers of Social Development at a meeting held in Cape Town in November 2004.
