5. Conclusion
To contribute positively to the PRSP, Civil Society has taken a very honest look at what has been happening in Zambia in the past years, and saw what major impediments blocked the realization of the development goals decided upon by Zambians. We have also focused on the future; on what needs to be done to overcome poverty, revive social and economic growth in Zambia.
From the Civil Society perspective, the PRSP activities as outlined above, especially in health, education, and agriculture, demand full and faithful implementation according to transparent and efficient management principles. They must be undertaken with great concern for what they will cost, how they will be implemented and how they will supplement PRSP activities in other sectors.
